 Portable Chlorine Dioxide Gas Generator

Cloridox-GMP 
GMP facilities or facilities where vacuum sterilization cycles also need to be conducted in addition to the decontamination of rooms, isolators, HEPA Housings, equipment, or supplies.
The Cloridox-GMP Sterilization System is a chlorine dioxide gas generator system designed for use in any pharmaceutical, manufacturing, laboratory, or research setting.  It provides a rapid and highly effective method to decontaminate a target chamber.  The target can be any chamber such as an isolator (sterility test, filling line, containment…), pass through, processing tank or vessel, clean room, Lyophilizer, etc.  In addition the system can be  attached to most vacuum chambers to provide a method for component or product sterilization.  The Cloridox-GMP Sterilization System is portable in design and can be easily moved throughout your facility.  The system features a sophisticated sterilant concentration monitoring system to assure a tightly controlled decontamination process. All instrumentation, including the photometer for concentration monitoring, is easily calibrated to traceable  standards.  The process is easy to validate due to the repeatable cycle, tight process control, and highly accurate sterilant monitoring system.  A run record is produced that contains the date, cycle time, cycle steps, as well as temperature, pressure, and chlorine dioxide concentration. The HMI system features a password protected, recipe management system with historical and real time trending.     An optional steam inject module delivers steam to raise relative humidity to within a specified range.

Minidox-M 
Our most commonly used Chlorine Dioxide Gas Generator. Any facility looking to decontaminate rooms, decontamination chambers, isolators, HEPA Housings, equipment or supplies.
The Minidox - M is a chlorine dioxide gas generation system designed for use in any animal research facility, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, laboratory, or research setting.  It provides a rapid and highly effective method to decontaminate a target chamber.  The system features a sophisticated sterilant concentration monitoring system to assure a tightly controlled decontamination process.  The Minidox Decontamination System is portable in design and easily connected to various targets.  The target can be any chamber such as a room, an isolator (sterility test, filling line, containment…), pass through, processing tank or vessel, clean room, Lyophilizer, etc.  The process is easy to validate due to the repeatable cycle, tight process control, and its highly accurate sterilant monitoring system.  Small chambers can be fully decontaminated with a total cycle time of less than 1.5 hours and rooms can be fully decontaminated with a total cycle time of less than 3.5 hours.

Steridox-VP
Chlorine Dioxide Gas vacuum sterilizer, ideal for sterilizing medical devices, sterile products, instruments, and components at ambient temperatures.
The Steridox-VP CD Sterilizers are designed for use in any pharmaceutical, manufacturing, laboratory, research or surgical setting. They provide a rapid and highly effective method to sterilize medical devices, sterile products, instruments, and components at ambient temperatures. The sterilizer utilizes a rugged industrial control system. It features a sophisticated sterilant concentration monitoring system to assure a tightly controlled sterilization process facilitating parametric release. All instrumentation, including the photometer for concentration monitoring, is easily calibrated to traceable standards. The process is easy to validate due to the repeatable cycle, tight process control, and highly accurate sterilant monitoring system. A run record is produced that contains: date, cycle time, cycle steps, as well as temperature, pressure, and chlorine dioxide concentration. The sterilizer is available in a variety of sizes to meet your processing needs. Automated sliding doors are available. The chamber and doors are constructed of 316L stainless steel to provide an exceptionally long life. The unit is enclosed in stainless steel, easily removable panels. The process is non-explosive allowing for inexpensive installations.

Dual-mode autoclave and chlorine dioxide gas vacuum sterilizer for those wishing to have maximum flexibility in sterilization.
The Steridox-Steamer is a unique dual mode sterilizer. The Megadox Decontamination System is a chlorine dioxide gas generation system designed for large volume applications in any manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or research setting.  It provides a rapid and highly effective method to decontaminate large volume chambers.  The target can be any space / chamber such as rooms, suites of rooms, isolators (sterility test, filling line, containment…), pass throughs, processing tank or vessels, etc.  The system features a sophisticated sterilant concentration monitoring system to assure a tightly controlled decontamination process.  Run data is electronically saved with a data archiving system. The Megadox Decontamination System is fixed in design but easily connected to various targets, even at distances over 500 ft away.  The process is easy to validate due to the repeatable cycle, tight process control, and its highly accurate sterilant monitoring system.
 


Decontamination Chamber

The Equipment Decontamination Chamber is designed for use in any governmental, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, laboratory, research or surgical setting. It provides a gas-tight chamber for quick and easy decontamination of equipment and items entering a clean facility or routine decontamination within the facility.  The equipment decontamination chamber is compatible with all of our chlorine dioxide generators and offers the most complete method of decontamination possible.  Our portable chlorine dioxide gas generators are also compatible with other manufacturer's decontamination chambers.
Chlorine Dioxide Gas Decontamination Chambers provide a rapid and highly effective method to sterilize computers, electronics, medical devices, sterile products, instruments, and components at ambient temperatures.
   It also provides a cost effective method to decontaminate components at room temperatures and without the need for an expensive and space consuming sterilizer.  It also provides the ability to remove items from a dirty area to a clean area without the concern for cross contaminations.
In some cases, Chlorine Dioxide Gas Decontamination Chambers can replace bulk autoclaves for a facility.  Both have different advantages, autoclaves are able to sterilize liquids, and dense organic materials, while decontamination chambers cannot.  Chlorine dioxide gas decontamination chambers can however, decontaminate heat/steam sensitive materials such as electronics and HEPA filters.  Chlorine dioxide gas decontamination chambers can significantly reduce utilities and maintenance costs when compared to bulk autoclaves as well, due to the extreme decrease in steam and water usage.

Biodecontamination Isolator
Used for the research of bacteria, spores, viruses, etc offering a safe and easy way to insert and remove organisms using special sample ports. 
Bio-Decontamination Chamber
The Bio-Decontamination Chamber is a chamber which is used in researching decontamination of bacteria, spores, viruses, etc using gaseous chlorine dioxide. It offers a convenient and safe way to insert and remove the organisms using special sample ports. There are two versions available, one is a stand-alone decontamination system and the second is a port for a Cloridox-GMP gas generating unit. It features temperature control, pressure control, and can be used for chlorine dioxide and vapor hydrogen peroxide studies. Square wave studies can be performed via a B.I. sampling system
RTP Decontamination System
The RTP Decontamination System is a chamber which is used to decontaminate the components and instruments in RTP’s so that they can be loaded into a clean environment. There are two versions available, one is a stand-alone decontamination system and the second is a port for a Cloridox-GMP gas generating unit.

Custom Isolators can be fabricated to any size made of polyproplyene. Isolators can also be fitted with glove ports.
 
 
 
Portable Decontamination Chamber
Chamber is portable and can be used to transport sterile items through the facility after decontamination. 
The ClorDiSys Portable Decontamination Cart (PDC) offers the ability to decontaminate small equipment and components inside a small chamber rather than in an entire room or large chamber. This allows for a quicker, more cost effective cycle for decontaminating a few items by limiting the amount of consumables used. Components sterilized within the chamber can then be transported throughout the facility in a sterile environment.
With both the Chlorine Dioxide Generator and the Decontamination Cart being easily portable, a complete decontamination system can be setup anywhere in your facility. With this system, you can decontaminate infected or contaminated items without taking them out of the room, minimizing risk of spreading the contamination. It provides a rapid and highly effective method to sterilize computers, electronics, medical devices, sterile products, instruments, animal cages, tools, supplies and other components at ambient temperatures.
Constructed out of polypropelene, the PDC comes equipped with all necessary connections to interface with our Chlorine Dioxide Gas generators, including gas inject and gas concentration sampling ports, and aeration ports as well. It also allows for the gas decontamination of the HEPA filters from caging racks which cannot go into an autoclave and much more. The Portable Decontamination Cart can be made in a variety of sizes, depending on your facility’s needs.
 
 
 
Passthroughs
Custom Passthrough boxes and chambers fabricated to any size and made of either polypropylene or stainless steel.  Fitted with two sealed doors for decontaminating items entering a clean facility or being removed from a hazardous environment.
 
 
 
Docking Station
The Docking Station provides a method to sterilize multiple transfer isolators just by "docking" the isolators or beta canisters to the station. It uses an Alpha RTP allowing a quick and easy connection to transfer isolators requiring sterilization.

Decontamination Spray Tunnel
 The Decontamination Spray Tunnel is used to spray a liquid disinfectant or sterilant onto equipment, feed bags, and bedding bags entering a barrier facility.

 Get an easy, quick and cost effective way to sanitize the outside of feed and bedding bags. A Decontamination Spray Tunnel provides a cost effective method to decontaminate feed and bedding bags, components, parts, supplies, and equipment entering a ““clean” facility at room temperatures and without the need for an expensive space consuming bulk autoclave. It provides some of the same benefits of sanitization as a bulk autoclave or a decontamination chamber but at a fraction of the cost. It also can be better positioned in the workflow patterns involved in the facility’s layout. The Decontamination Spray Tunnel sprays any EPA approved liquid sanitizer on all sides of items placed on the conveyor. The spray would effectively reduce the population of viruses, bacterial spores, vegetative bacteria, and fungi based on the solution and concentrations selected (User must read decontaminating agents label and use according to use instructions). This automated process eliminates the human factor to provide an even and complete distribution of the liquid on your items. It also improves operator safety by eliminating the ergonomic issues involved with constant spraying as well as exposure issues occurring from the vapors created when hand spraying. Some items which can be sanitized in the Decontamination Spray Tunnel include feed and bedding bags, animal cages, trays, components, supplies, etc. The controls are simple start/stop and speed control for the conveyor speed to match your sanitization and throughout requirements.

 

 

 

 

Multi-Room Distribution System

Facilities that have rooms in both restricted (barrier or BSL) or unrestricted areas to decontaminate, such that the CD Generator can stay outside of the restricted area and connect to rooms both inside and outside the restricted area.

The Multi-Room Distribution System provides a method to connect any of our chlorine dioxide gas generators to a number of rooms using quick easy connections at one point.  It consists of a distribution plate which can be mounted in either a wall or ceiling and connect to a room to be decontaminated through a ceiling plate. The plate allows for quick valved tubing connections and quick connection of electrical connectors to measure and control the RH using either the Minidox or Cloridox decontamination systems.  Rooms can be over 500 feet away from the distribution plate, allowing for great flexibility.  The distribution plate can allow a CD generator to decontaminate rooms within a barrier facility while staying outside of the barrier such that it can also be used to decontaminate rooms/chambers outside the barrier with ease.




 

Ceiling Plate

Used in conjunction with Distribution System as the connection plate inside each room.

The Ceiling Plate provides a method to connect a Distribution Plate to single room.  It is mounted in the room on the ceiling or any available place to provide entry into the room from the distribution plate.

Installed into the door of rooms that will be decontaminated often, creating an easier interface for connecting the CD Generator to the room.

The Door Plate provides a method to connect ClorDiSys Solutions, Inc. gas generators to a room for quick easy connections.  It is mounted through a door to the room to be decontaminated. The plate allows for quick valved tubing connections and quick connection of electrical connectors to measure and control the RH to either the Minidox or Cloridox systems.  Door Plate can be easily manufactured in custom sizing to fit your facilities doors.

Wall Plate

Installed into the wall of rooms that will be decontaminated often, creating an easier interface for connecting the CD Generator to the room.

The Room Wall Plate provides a method to connect any of our chlorine dioxide gas generators to a room for quick, easy connections.  It is designed to replace a mason block for easy installation into the room to be decontaminated. A shallower design is available for installation into a studded wall. The plate allows for quick valved tubing connections and quick connection of electrical connectors to measure and control the RH to either the Minidox or Cloridox systems.

 VPHP Conversion Parts

Facilities who are replacing an existing VPHP installation with chlorine dioxide gas.

ClorDiSys Solutions offers a simple and effective solution when converting current systems from VPHP to CD.  Many customers are realizing the short-comings of VPHP and are desiring the benefits of using chlorine dioxide gas. To facilitate switching from VPHP to using one of our CD generators, two cross adapters are available. They have been developed to allow you to keep your current VPHP connections while adding the benefits of our CD system. They simply connect to the cam-lock connectors that are presently used to connect your VPHP generator up to.

 

 

 

CD Cartridges

CD Cartridges convert the reagent 2% Cl, 98% Nitrogen into a pure chlorine dioxide gas.

The CD Cartridge Set is specifically designed to work with our chlorine dioxide gas generation systems. Using Sodium Chlorite as the active ingredient, it converts the 2% chlorine gas (98% Nitrogen) in the cylinders to high purity chlorine dioxide using a unique solid phase reaction.

CD Scrubbers

CD Scrubbers break down chlorine dioxide gas.  Great for use with BSCs and rooms where HVAC system cannot be shut down during decon.

ClorDiSys Solutions offers a broad range of scrubbers to remove chlorine dioxide gas if you have a unique circumstance where direct discharge to the atmosphere is not acceptable. Both our standard carbon and custom sodium thiosulfate scrubbing technologies are available. We have a few standard units available for applications such as isolators, Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC’s), Sterilizers, Small Pass-through rooms, and pressure relief systems. Larger scrubbers for large rooms and building decontamination are custom designed for the particular application.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Decon DoorDecontaminaion Room Doors

Fully gasketted and sealable door which requires no taping by personnel. This can be used to create a Decontamination Room to replace the need for an autoclave or manual wipe-downs of equipment.

Turn any room into an easy, quick and cost effective sterilizer using our Equipment Decontamination Room door.  A Chlorine Dioxide Decontamination / “Sterilization” room provides a cost effective method to decontaminate components, parts, supplies, and equipment entering a “sterile” or “clean” facility at room temperatures and without the need for an expensive space consuming sterilizer. It provides many of the same benefits as a sterilization chamber but at a fraction of the cost. It also can be better positioned in the workflow patterns involved in the facility’s layout. The door utilizes a rugged, non-inflatable gasket so that sealing a door using tape is not required. It is made of white polypropylene for reduced cost and ease of installation. A window is provided for viewing and safety. A two-point latch provides a tight seal. A ramp is provided to roll carts over a 3” high sill. An optional interlock and control system is available.

Humidifiers

Used to raise relative humidity levels for sporicidal reduction.

These two steam humidifiers are used to generate humidity in small chambers such as BSC’s, HEPA Filter Housings and Isolators. They are equipped with a thermostat control that will shut the steamer off when the temperature reaches excess levels. They can be used with any of the ClorDiSys Solutions, Inc. chlorine dioxide gas generators. They each produce steam in just seconds and offer a continuous flow of steam.

 Used for leak detection and low level chlorine dioxide gas monitoring.

 

 

ClorDiSys EMS

Portable photometric concentration monitor.

The Cloridox-EMS chlorine dioxide (CD) measurement system is the only proven technology in the world for accurately monitoring gaseous CD in a real world environment. It can monitor CD in an environment with high humidity levels. Typical photometers measure concentration by measuring the absorbency at a single wavelength. Advanced split-beam reference compensation at a second wavelength further improve the precision and reliability of the measurement even in applications where optical fouling or other process disturbances would normally affect the measurement, such as high relative humidity. This ability provides exceptional accuracy and eliminates the variability, which may be observed with commonly used wet-chemistry methods. Our system is easily calibrated and has proven reliability with years of use in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries doing room and isolator decontamination, as well as vacuum sterilization applications. 


Our system can monitor concentrations between 0.1 and 30 mg/L. It is specific to CD and is not affected by humidity or any other interference or drift. The readings are instantaneous. 

This photometric measurement technology is the basis for CSI's Sensor Module and Cloridox-EMS system.
Note: 1 mg/L of ClO2 gas is equivalent to approximately 360 ppm(v) concentration.

 



Room Bladder/Valve Systems

Used to seal supply and exhaust vents when they cannot be shut down during the decontamination cycle.

DC/AC ControlBox

Relay box used in conjunction with a CD Generator to automatically control any powered device during a decontamination cycle, such as a humidifier to control relative humidity. 

The RH Control Box works in conjunction with a Steam Fast steam generator to humidify areas that are too large for one CD Gas Generator to accurately control RH. They are primarily used when one CD Gas Generator is being used to decontaminate a suite of rooms. The RH Control Box comes with an RH Probe and an independent controller. 

 




Humidity Control Box

Independent control box consisting of a relative humidity probe used for automatically controlling the relative humidity during a decontamination cycle.

 

 

BI Sampler

A device which is inserted into an isolator and used to pull BI's out of an isolator for fractional studies during a decontamination cycle.

ClorDiSys Solutions, Inc BI Sampler is a convenient method to perform square-wave “Bier Vessel” Dvalue testing of BI’s. It is sized for BI’s measuring approximately 1.5” x 3”.  The BI Sampler allows you to obtain repeatable test conditions since you do not need to worry about Charge and Aeration times affecting the BI kill results. It can be used with any gaseous or vapor sterilizing agent. The BI Sampler features rugged PVC construction, Viton O-rings for a tight seal yet easy insertion, and a tank adapter for easy installation into your testing chamber or isolator. 

 


ClorDiSys - SCT

A device which includes a blower for circulation and a Mix Box for interfacing between a chlorine dioxide gas generator and chambers such as HEPA housings, isolators and BSCs which have minimal connection ports and/or require circulation.

The ClorDiSys SCT combines both a Mix Box and recirculation blower 

to form a single, portable system.  The SCT, with the addition of 

interface connectors, contains all the necessary equipment to 

successfully utilize chlorine dioxide gas for HEPA Filter Housings and 

Biological Safety Cabinet decontaminations when utilizing a ClorDiSys 

Gas Generator. A sealed regenerative blower provides a method of c

irculation throughout the BSC to ensure circulation of humidity and gas 

when the BSC blower is not functional or when required per NSF 

instructions. A carbon-based scrubber is then required to remove the CD 

gas concentration from the BSC. It also provides a means to ensure 

circulation of humidity and gas through a HEPA Filter Housing. All 

connections utilize standard 1” Banjo fittings.  

 




Mix Box

An interface between a chlorine dioxide gas generator and a chamber such as a HEPA housing, isolator, and BSC which has minimal connection ports.

 

 

 

Biological Indicators and Media

10^6 Bacillus atrophaeus spores inoculated on paper and wrapped in tyvek.  Media is color change for easy verification of microbial growth.  Used for testing the CD decontamination process.

ClorDiSys Solutions, Inc BI Media is a convenient source for SGM Biological Indicator Media. It is selected for chlorine dioxide gas BI’s containing 106 Bacillus atrophaeus spores. ClorDiSys features SGM Biological Indicator Media since it is of the highest standards for repeatable results. The BI results can be kept as part of your facility log to provide documented evidence that the decontamination process was successful. To use, you simply place the BI strip (Part# BI/100-001) in the media, incubate, and then look for growth.
